Marie McLeod, Director of Wellbeing Innovation, Thrive Ability
How to Thrive 101 is an innovative, evidence-based program designed for employees who are currently experiencing, or are at risk of, mental health challenges in the workplace. The program uses a blended learning approach, grounded in the science of wellbeing with a focus on individuals learning and applying tools for thriving. Designed to enhance well-being and mitigate ill-being, the program combines self-guided eLearning with live sessions for accountability, this approach has been tried, tested, and evaluated by Prof Peggy Kern from The University of Melbourne. During this session, you’ll hear directly from the program’s founder, Marie McLeod, who serves as the Director of Wellbeing Innovation at Thrive Ability. How to Thrive is built on the BEACON framework (Belonging, Engagement, Accountability, Compassion, Optimism & Nurture), as featured in the award winning ‘How to Thrive’ documentary. Marie is qualified in social work, positive psychology and adult education. Currently used in leading corporations and government, the program has proven its effectiveness with employees, regardless of where they are on the mental health continuum. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore How to Thrive 101, understand its evidence-based approach, and learn how it’s making a positive impact in various professional settings including return to work.
